Covering topics that include modern child-rearing methods, baby food recipes, DIY childcare products, educational toys, maternity yoga, and much more, these high-quality videos offer trendy and reliable content that is iteratively optimized based on customer feedback.

Babily enables millions of parents across China to access video streaming in seconds, sorting content by lectures, assessments, user communities, paid courses, and more. The platform has become one of the largest baby and childcare resources in China, and is now expanding its footprint beyond video media.

BCG Digital Ventures Role

In 2016, BCG Digital Ventures was approached by Unicharm, one of the largest hygiene and baby-care products manufacturers in Japan and conducted a portfolio sprint with the mission of supporting young parents in China and encouraging a higher birth rate. Babily was one of the concepts from the sprint, and Unicharm and Digital Ventures formed a joint venture (Onedot Inc.) in early 2017 to scale Babily.
